Hawk Alfredson

The enigmatic and mysterious Swedish painter Hawk Alfredson currently resides in a room full of paintings at New York City's Chelsea Hotel. Like one of his Spyral paintings, his works decorate the hallways and stairwells of the hotel in an ever growing, meandering display. In addition to the organic, hallway exhibit, his works have appeared in various other galleries throughout the city, country and internationally.

Note on the works below: Unlike Hawk's earlier figurative works, these deal with imaginary forms, spirals, circlings and objects. They are all done with oil on canvas and are medium size works, in the 30" to 40" range.
